How do you organise a family photo album?

Follow the calendar: one chapter per month or per season, and a double page for each big event (holidays, birthdays, Christmas). For several generations, start with the oldest photos and end with the youngest children. Keep only the best photo of each series: the album will read better.

How many photos should go in a family album?

Plan on 100 to 200 photos for a whole year in 40 to 60 pages, or 40 to 80 photos for one holiday. A page can hold up to 9 photos, and a single photo across a double page gives the big moments room to breathe.

How much does a family photo album cost?

An Innocence family album costs from €28 in mini A5, from €32 in softcover, from €38 in hardcover and from €55 in layflat. The price then depends on the number of pages. Delivery is free in France from €70.

Which format for a family photo album?

The A4 landscape format suits group photos and landscapes, the A4 portrait format suits portraits, and the 21 × 21 cm square format mixes both. The mini A5 is ideal for extra copies for the grandparents.

What title or phrase for a family photo album?

Keep it short and personal: “Our 2026”, “The Martins, season 3”, “Home” or “Everything we lived through together”. Inside, add one sentence per chapter: a date, a place, a word one of the children said. You write the title and the texts yourself in our editor.

Can you put old photos in a family album?

Yes. Scan your paper photos at 300 dpi or more, or photograph them flat, in daylight and without reflections. Mixed with today's photos, they make the album a real family history.

Which photo album to give the grandparents?

The hardcover album for an album they will open for years, or the mini A5 album from €28 to give one copy to each grandparent. Once your album is created, you can order it again in several copies.

When should you order a family album for Christmas?

Production takes 3 working days (5 for layflat), then delivery: 48 hours in France, express 24 hours. To be safe, order in early December. Outside France, the delivery time for your country is shown at checkout.

All Innocence albums are printed in France on FSC-certified paper, then checked by hand before they are shipped.

What if my album has a printing defect?

Send a photo of the defect and your order number to support@innocence-editions.com and we will reprint your album.

For the group photo of the whole family, a layflat photo book opens completely flat, with no fold in the middle.
